Works Fine

It's a basic bicycle pump and seems to work fine. I was happy that it came with tips for airing up my ball chair. It took a while to figure out how to attach the tip; looks like it should screw, but you just set it in and close the lever. The gauge on mine doesn't work, but I don't use it anyway - just the hand test for firmness. I'm sure it's just a defect on mine, not all. The tip case is well attached, so you don't have to worry about losing them. And I like how compact it is at 16" tall. Overall, it's fine and does its job.

Works great, a little pricey

This pump works great for what we bought it for, inflating sports balls. After buying several mini $5 pumps that broke right away, we decided to get something better. Would work great for bike tires too, especially with built in gauge. We got for a good deal, I wouldn't pay its current list price as there are equal options at Walmart for less than $20 that are equivalent. If the price is right though I would recommend this pump.

Incredible Bike Pump!

This mini pump is very well made, and the accessories are greatly needed if you ever get a flat. The last thing you want is to be miles away from home, no cell tower, get a flat tire, and then have no way to fix it. This is a great value, and an incredible build quality. The pump fits where you would normally put your drink holder, and it mounts very securely. The pump is also small enough where it can store in a bike bag. It includes both the Schrader head, as well as the Presta head. The flexible hose on it is really nice when you are pumping at those weird angles. Also, this hose is a high pressure hose, which means less pumping. This is such a fantastic value! I highly recommend it!

Compact and Easy to Use

Very compact and easy to use. I checked the pressure gauge on the pump against the tire pressure gauge I keep in my cars glove box, and the measurements were spot on between the analog gauge on the pump and the digital gauge from my car. Keeps the tires on all 3 of our bikes at the right levels. Definitely recommend.

Small and light - Works on both Presta and Schrader with no adapters

My 30 year old pump finally died after just too many years of abuse. One thing that was always a pain was filling up the tires on my trusty old Cannondale (also 30 years old) a couple of times a year since I had to scrounge around for a Presta adapter that was supposed to be with the ball filling adapters but tended to go missing.I'm not sure how it works, but when you are hooked up to a Schrader (standard) valve, the Presta is blocked off and vice-versa for filling using a Presta valve. That's a huge bonus and puts this in the 4-star category for me when otherwise it's a 3-star pump. It works fine but is very short (short pump strokes = longer time to fill / back ache) and the gauge isn't too easy to read. It is VERY light weight so it could be carried in a backpack for rides where you might want a larger pump for some reason.

What should I consider when choosing bicycle tires?

When selecting bicycle tires, consider the size, tread, width, durability, pressure, weight, and riding style. Choose a tire that fits your bike's wheels, is appropriate for the terrain you'll be riding on, is durable and puncture-resistant, can handle the recommended tire pressure, and matches your riding style.

What size bike tire do I need for my bike?

To determine the size of tire you need for your bike, you can look at the sidewall of your current wheel, which will have the tire size printed on it. The size will typically be expressed as a combination of numbers and letters, such as "700x23c" or "26x2.0". The first number refers to the diameter of the tire, which is measured in millimeters for metric sizes (e.g. 700) or inches for imperial sizes (e.g. 26). The second number refers to the width of the tire, also measured in millimeters or inches. The letter at the end indicates the type of tire (e.g. "c" for clincher)
If you're unsure about what size tires to get or have any doubts about compatibility, you can consult your bike's owner's manual or contact the manufacturer for advice.
