I have an old Sears bike, and the gumwall tires were deteriorating. Most 26” cruiser-bike tires are too wide for this bike, but these 1 ⅜” wide tires were a perfect fit. Plenty of clearance for the fenders. They were easy to install. I didn’t need the levers, but they seem decent. I went ahead and put in the new tubes, keeping the old ones as spares. These tires don’t have the vintage look of the gumwalls, but I don’t care. In my experience, the gumwall is the first part of the tire to go bad. These will last longer.
