First time buyer of a folding bike tire. I let the tire lie flat all day in the sun and mounted it the next day. Tire was still widely open that day and couldn't get my puncture liner to stay in place before inserting the tube so I left it out. Hope the tire's as puncture resistant as they claim (we have a lot of thorns here). I couldn't believe the tire fit on the rim without having a stiff bead, but it did. Been riding a couple of weeks now with no problems, but still not sure if I will buy another folding tire.
