Small and simple

We finally had a break in the weather where I live, so I took advantage of the warm day with a bike ride. The tires definitely needed some air, so I grabbed the new bike pump. It was so simple to use. The gauge was easy to read. My tires were inflated within seconds. This little pump is better than expected, and as an added bonus, the various needles ( for filling pool toys and basketballs, etc.) are in a clear container that stays attached to the pump for easy access. Two thumbs up for this pump!

Gets the job done

Does exactly what it's supposed to do. It is a little smaller than expected. When doing bike tires it's close to a 1:1 ratio for pumps to psi. To do a proper test I decided to give myself a little punishment and pump up a car tire. that was closer to a 15:1 (15 pumps to 1 psi.) That took a while to say the least but it did the job. I'll probably keep this in the car as a back up to my little electric pump for bike rides.

Good

It took a little while to figure out how to use. Once we did, it was easy enough.

Nice High-Pressure Floor Pump

This pump performed perfectly for me. My tandem bike has 80 psi rated tires and this pump had no issues getting the tires pumped to that pressure. The gauge shows 160 psi, should be able to handle any bike tire being sold today. The handle is comfortable and the pump is stable when in use even though there is only one step to stand on. I was concerned about how short the pump is, it is about 6' shorter than the floor pump I had been using. I am 6' tall and am a little bent over when using the pump. The pump has a good volume of air flow so it pumps the tire up quickly. I like this pump, very recommended.

What should I consider when choosing bicycle tires?

When selecting bicycle tires, consider the size, tread, width, durability, pressure, weight, and riding style. Choose a tire that fits your bike's wheels, is appropriate for the terrain you'll be riding on, is durable and puncture-resistant, can handle the recommended tire pressure, and matches your riding style.

What size bike tire do I need for my bike?

To determine the size of tire you need for your bike, you can look at the sidewall of your current wheel, which will have the tire size printed on it. The size will typically be expressed as a combination of numbers and letters, such as "700x23c" or "26x2.0". The first number refers to the diameter of the tire, which is measured in millimeters for metric sizes (e.g. 700) or inches for imperial sizes (e.g. 26). The second number refers to the width of the tire, also measured in millimeters or inches. The letter at the end indicates the type of tire (e.g. "c" for clincher)
If you're unsure about what size tires to get or have any doubts about compatibility, you can consult your bike's owner's manual or contact the manufacturer for advice.
