Good value for replacement tires.

These mountain bike tires were a good replacement for the over-priced tires that I originally had on my son's mountain bike. He thought it was fun to constantly skid on the old tires until there were holes in the tires, so I needed to get some new tires. These new tires have an aggressive tread pattern to them and do not have a directional indicator on the sidewall. They grip well in dirt & gravel and have good stability when inflated to 32-40psi. They were extremely easy to install and I was able to do so without having to use tire levers. The description mentions that the tires are puncture resistant, so hopefully this will help prevent flats. These tires are heavier than some of the other over-priced tires, but work well for bikes where weight isn't a major concern. The rubber material seems durable, so I'm curious to see how well they hold up over time.

I like the tire tread and very easy installation

I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the tires. It went on the bike without much hassle at all. Should wear fairly well with the tread on them. Decent price for the set too.

Nice width/value, but heavy.

This is a decent, budget-oriented tire with large knobs for increased traction. It’s perfect for my usage as an occasional mountain biker with an older 26” wheel bike. My favorite thing about this tire is the width. 2.125” is definitely an upgrade over the 1.95” tires that are commonly found on older bikes. It is heavy however, which I noticed the moment I unpacked it. The tire I replaced weighed 886 g. This one weighs 1049 g. That’s 163 g added, about the weight of a billiard ball. You can probably find something lighter, but not necessarily at this price point. Heavy tyre may not be a disadvantage to others I was still able to get it on the rim without using levers. I took it out for a 12 mile ride on my local trail, and I was pleased with the performance.

What should I consider when choosing bicycle tires?

When selecting bicycle tires, consider the size, tread, width, durability, pressure, weight, and riding style. Choose a tire that fits your bike's wheels, is appropriate for the terrain you'll be riding on, is durable and puncture-resistant, can handle the recommended tire pressure, and matches your riding style.

What size bike tire do I need for my bike?

To determine the size of tire you need for your bike, you can look at the sidewall of your current wheel, which will have the tire size printed on it. The size will typically be expressed as a combination of numbers and letters, such as "700x23c" or "26x2.0". The first number refers to the diameter of the tire, which is measured in millimeters for metric sizes (e.g. 700) or inches for imperial sizes (e.g. 26). The second number refers to the width of the tire, also measured in millimeters or inches. The letter at the end indicates the type of tire (e.g. "c" for clincher)
If you're unsure about what size tires to get or have any doubts about compatibility, you can consult your bike's owner's manual or contact the manufacturer for advice.
