Tips: What is the difference between Shimano MF-TZ500-6/MF-TZ500-7 freewheel?

MF-TZ500-6: Features 6 teeth;  MF-TZ500-7: Features 7 teeth.

The number of teeth often corresponds to the number of speeds, with more cogs generally indicating a higher number of available speeds. The smaller the number of teeth of the bike freewheel, the stronger the traction force, which is suitable for mountains and climbing. The higher the number of teeth, the greater the ability to reach smooth and high-speed riding.

Gray freewheel for vintage drivetrains

I have used these freewheels on both 6-speed and 7-speed vintage drivetrains. They work well with indexed shifting systems.

Drop in replacement for a Schwinn 21 speed hybrid

Quick easy replacement on an older Schwinn hybrid. Smooth shifting and quiet. It fixed the grinding rumble in the old wheel. You will need a standard Freewheel removal tool

For a regular bike

You can spend what ever on this part. I don't use it for high performance and thing it is a value. Inexpensive has been on bike for a 2 seasonsz. Works fine
