My review is for 20x4 size tire with Kevlar bead as there are multiple items listed under this one.
I found the tire to fit perfectly to replace the tire on my fat tire e-bike. Other than not having write lettering on the side of the time, this is nearly identical to my original tire. Though my original tire is steel bead while this one is Kevlar bead, I can't say that I can tell any difference. The traction/road noise doesn't seem to have changed, like I sad good replacement as everything feels the same as before.
One slight negative is that the tire is directional, so it should only be mounted to spin in one direction, but I don't see any indicator on the tire to specify which direction. I do see on my old tire there's an arrow on the side of tire to indicate which direction the tire should spin. So just be careful to install it in the correct direction (use the old tire for reference).
July: (Have now had the new one on for over 2 months now and are still doing good. Am getting reviewing.
I recently purchased the Hycline Fat Tire as a replacement for my old electric bike tires, and I must say I'm impressed with their performance. These tires are specifically designed for mountain and snow bikes, and their wide surface area provides exceptional traction on slippery surfaces. The 4.0-inch width is perfect for tackling rough terrain, and the folding design makes it easy to carry them around as backup tires for emergencies. The installation process was straightforward, and I was able to fit the tires on my electric bike without any issues. The build quality of these tires is excellent, and I'm confident that they will last for a long time. I also appreciate the compatibility with a wide range of bikes, which makes them a versatile option for anyone looking to upgrade their tires.Overall, I highly recommend the Hycline Fat Tire to anyone looking for a durable and reliable replacement for their electric bike tires.
Purchased to replace my CST BFT on my Kepler. Mounted with no issues and ride is soft and smooth. Only 50 miles on it so I can't attest to the long term durability. I like that it's 30 TPI and has solid black sidewalls. Decent overall fat tire for $40 price range.
