...admittedly, I didn't use it for an ebike. Conversely, it could be argued that, for the purpose I put it to (see attached photos), one needs MORE traction. In my case, I have it mounted to 21" fat tire wheel, into which I have mounted a 1000w hub motor. This, in turn, was installed into custom-fabricated, extended brackets, which themselves are mounted to the wheelbarrow with which I just moved 8 tons of dirt from a project site.So this wheel not only was used off-road, exclusively, but was also dragging 250+ pounds of load with every other trip it took, across rough ground, in direct and constant exposure to the elements. It still had enough torque I had to install a guard bar, followed by a dead-man's switch due to its tendency to pull the unweary off their feet and charge blithely onwards, dragging the hapless idiot along behind. This does not happen if it ones drive wheel is failing to get traction.I not only moved my dirt, I got to build one of the most ridiculous things I ever have, AND I now have the only wheelbarrow in the Midwest with a 0-60 of "yes". So for me, at least: 5 stars.
