I blew a hole in my rad runner tire so after much deliberation I went with this. It sounds like it won't fit but it does. It's way bigger than the original , but it clears everything. There are other speed tires and they ask a premium but I'm cheap. Now. First off it Chinese. It's thin. I had a stick actually go through this tire and puncture my tube. So yes , it's very thin. I had 3 flats right off the bat after installing it. But after that I haven't had anymore flats. I've been running it for about a year here in Austin tx. It's MUCH quieter than the original nobby tire. It's also notably faster. Top speed went up around 1.5 miles per hour but that could be the circumference difference but I'm no rocket doctor. So if you live in the desert with goats heads , I'd say no. If you cruise decent paths and or roads like I do, I'd say yes. I've put nearly 1000 miles on it this year and it still looks new. So after I got the flats out of the way I'm happy with it now. Happy trails. !!
